A Centralized Receiving Facility (CRF), as defined by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), is a facility that serves as a single point of entry for individuals in mental health or substance use crisis, providing assessment, triage, evaluation, treatment, or stabilization services under the Baker Act or Marchman Act. These facilities, often called Central Receiving Systems (CRS), are a critical component of Florida’s behavioral health system, connecting individuals with necessary services and ensuring continuity of care.
