Child Welfare Coordinator

Amanda Gill holds a Master’s Degree in Child Life and Family Centered Care from Wheelock College and brings over a decade of experience in child welfare, adoption services, and trauma-informed care. She has served in a range of direct service and systems-level roles across Florida and the Northeast, with a focus on integrating mental health supports into permanency planning and early childhood systems. Prior to her current role as Child Welfare Integration Coordinator at Thriving Mind South Florida, Amanda worked as a Permanency Specialist at Children’s Home Society of Florida, where she led cross-system collaboration and technical assistance efforts to improve outcomes for children and families. Amanda is passionate about using data-driven strategies to strengthen the behavioral health continuum for families at risk of involvement in the child welfare system.
