Thriving Mind South Florida mourns of the loss of Manny Fermin, longtime CEO of Healthy Start Coalition of Miami-Dade. Mr. Fermin died March 17 at age 56 from pancreatic cancer.

“His dedication and leadership as the CEO of Healthy Start Coalition has changed the lives of thousands of women and children of Miami-Dade County,” said John W. Newcomer, M.D., Thriving Mind President and CEO.

Healthy Start Coalition is now one of Thriving Mind’s contracted providers, offering critical services to the community.
