Thriving Mind | South Florida (contracting as South Florida Behavioral Health Network, Inc.) works to ensure that families and individuals affected by mental illness and substance abuse can readily access innovative, effective and compassionate services that lead to health and recovery. Our goal is to fill gaps in the system of mental health and substance use services while providing access to support mechanisms that address the varied needs of affected individuals and families, including the homeless and uninsured. We do this because we believe everyone is entitled to live with hope and lead meaningful lives.
Our new website is an online destination for exceptional mental health and substance use resources in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. The user experience has been tailored to better assist the people of our community who are searching for crisis support, treatment, guidance and an improved quality of life.
Provider Search System
Our all-new search engine makes it quick and easy to find expert mental health and substance use service providers in the community, such as healthcare centers, clubhouses and drop-in centers – all of which are regularly monitored and evaluated by Thriving Mind to ensure the very best quality of care. Visitors can input keywords such as “intervention” or “detox”, as well as filter by city and program area, to instantly find a listing of relevant providers.
Critical Resources
Helpful guides and directories can be found throughout the site providing access to key contacts and program information for topics ranging from housing support to suicide prevention, legal services, consumer rights and more.
Personalized Assistance
For those who need personalized assistance in determining the help they need, we’ve included call-back forms that allow visitors to request direct help from our team members.
Crisis Support
Our new Crisis Support page offers several resources for those seeking immediate help with non-emergency mental health and substance use issues, including access to our Acute Care Portal which shows real-time bed availability for providers offering detoxification and crisis stabilization beds to the public under the Marchman Act and Baker Act.
New developments are already underway to expand upon the functionality of our website as we continue working to facilitate efficient access to personalized services and programs that bridge gaps in the South Florida health system and provide a continuum of care for the individuals and families that need it most.
Access to all of these resources is available anytime, anywhere, by visiting our website on a mobile device.
